A Listening Ear...

A Caring Community of services and service agencies, housing more than two dozen agencies on a full or part time basis...

A Gathering Place, for those who need assistance, a cup of coffee or computer time, or just a place to relax for a while and watch their children play...

A Meeting Place, providing room and facilities as available and needed...

An Answer to Need...

Community of Caring relies on your donations.  If you are touched by what we do, please consider a donation to help support our programs. Click the image to the left to go to our donation page or, for those on mobile devices, just text GIVE4TELLER to 44321.Your support means SO much!

Aspen Mine Center Gift and Thrift Resale Shop

Open Tuesday through Saturday, from 10 AM to 4 PM, this valuable community resource relies strictly on thousands of dollars in donated goods from the community and more than 30 volunteers donating nearly 3,000 hours per year.  The Gift Shop in 2018 generated over $50,000 in revenue for Community of Caring’s programs and emergency assistance fund, and in its first four years since 2015 has contributed $8,500 in state, county and local sales tax.

Bell Ringers Needed

The Holiday Season is just around the corner and we rely on everyone for your caring and support of the Teller County community as we begin our 2021 Salvation Army Bell Ringing campaign.

Just like last year, we will be Ringing the Bell in Cripple Creek (Cripple Creek Market), Divide (Divide Market) and Woodland Park (Walmart & City Market). We have 2 hour slots available on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays starting November 26th through December 24th. Please help us support those in need in our community by signing up to Ring the Bell for the Salvation Army this Holiday season. Simply click on the Bell Ringing button to the right (or follow this link: I want to help!) to sign up. Once you are signed up, you will receive a reminder email prior to the date as well as some further information and instructions.

Remember - 90% of all donations remain in Teller County and your contribution of time allows The Teller County Salvation Army to continue to feed the hungry, house the homeless, nurture our youth, provide year-round emergency assistance, and fund our well-known Holiday programs that share food, clothing, and toys with needy children and adults. If you have any questions or need assistance signing up, please feel free to email us at or call our friendly staff at the Aspen Mine Center - 719-689-3584.
